In a certain sense, every one of Anne Hamilton’s books combines mathematics and Scripture. While researching medieval poetry (looking for something her junior high school mathematics class would be able to both understand and analyse), she discovered not just that poetry of the time was patterned after the mathematical themes of Scripture but there were academics who studied how these poems were constructed. And who told her that the strongest barrier to acceptance of their work was their colleagues’ reaction: “But no one would do that!”

Those words were a challenge. After that, every one of her books was mathematically styled. The word count in both chapters and entire books is very precise.

However, the four books mentioned above go further — they actually explain the mathematics of Scripture.
